Short Story Michael Köhlmeier

I created a monthly Editorial Illustration for Servus Magazine where I illustrate fairy tale short stories written by Michael Köhlmeier. The idea is to identify key objects of the stories and piece them together in a way that makes the viewer curious about the story.

The story is about a villager nicknamed Heuschreck who is mobbed all his life by his neighbours and after doing a good deed, gets gifts in forms of farm animals and goods from them. But in the end, even though he saved the villagers sons, remains an outcast.
